on July 12, 1995 and started broadcasting on December 12 of the
very same year. Radio “Dzveli Kalaki” was the first
independent radio station created outside the capital of Georgia
– Tbilisi. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in
Kutaisi and in the most parts of the Imereti region. Major age-group
of listeners consists of 25-45 years old men and 20-40 years old
women.
Along with music Radio “Dzveli Kalaki” offers variety
of entertainment and news programs.
